As the year slowly comes to an end, I find myself reflecting, not on how much I’ve achieved, but on how much I’ve balanced. And as a former ballet dancer I know how important balance is.
This year 2025 has been a year full of movement, travel, and change. New projects, new conversations, new chapters, for my daughters, for my company, and for myself. But in between all that movement, I’ve learned something important: balance is not stillness. It’s rhythm.
We often talk about success as reaching a goal, climbing a ladder, or crossing a finish line. But what if real success is simply finding harmony, the ability to stay grounded when life keeps moving?
Maybe balance is knowing when to push and when to pause, when to speak and when to listen, when to work hard and when to let go.
As Christmas approaches, that short but precious pause in the rush, I’m reminded that harmony doesn’t just happen. It’s something we create consciously, every day, in the way we choose to show up for others and for ourselves.
The season invites us to slow down, to reconnect with what truly matters: family, friends, love, and peace. It’s not about perfection or performance, it’s about presence. Because when we’re fully present, even the smallest moments can feel like success.
So this Christmas, I will try not to chase more, but enjoy the meaning behind everything we do.
And perhaps that’s what success really is, not in having everything, but in feeling at peace with what we already have.
Wow, I start to sound like Santa :-)
