Grateful for your reactions

This week has been incredibly rewarding, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the overwhelming response to my recent article in the newspaper. It’s always a bit nerve-wracking to put your thoughts out there, especially when you’re sharing something personal. But the feedback I’ve received has truly touched me, especially the way people have connected with the vulnerability I expressed.

Vulnerability is often seen as a weakness, something we try to hide or shield from others. But I’ve come to realize that it’s one of the most powerful tools we have for building genuine connections. When we allow ourselves to be open, to show our true selves—our fears, our doubts, and our hopes—we give others permission to do the same. And that’s where the magic happens. That’s where real understanding and empathy grow.

The reactions to my article made it clear that people aren’t just looking for polished stories with neat, happy endings. They want authenticity. They want to see the real journey, the highs and lows, the struggles and triumphs. It’s the vulnerability that resonates, because it reminds us all that we’re not alone in our experiences.

It’s been so uplifting to hear from those who read the article, sharing how they related to it, how it spoke to something they’ve gone through, or even how it inspired them to open up in their own lives. This has been a reminder to me that being vulnerable is not only brave but deeply impactful.

Thank you to everyone who reached out with your kind words and thoughts. Your reactions have shown me, once again, that when we embrace vulnerability, we can create space for others to connect, reflect, and grow. And for that, I’m truly grateful.

Vulnerability is also one of the most important chapters in my book ‘10 Quintessential Questions”, for my book I had the opportunity  to speak to 21 very different people about their experiences in life.
