Paradoxes of Life

Success comes as a by-product of being happy and doing what you enjoy. It almost never happens the other way around. It’s one of the great paradoxes of life I think.

Why would you expect a great return on your desires without a significant investment? When you’ve been told over and over again in subtle ways that there’s a ceiling to what you’re capable of, it’s hard to believe you can do more. But we all can!

Maybe we just need to stop playing hide and seek with the truth and regardless of your own definition of success, it won’t happen for you until you’re honest with yourself.

We all know that game of hide and seek we play with ourselves and the truth. Would our world work and would we get along with each other if we would not have the possibilities of those half-truths? And would we be able to cope with our own life in the first place ? But the people that ’make it’ have had those tough dialogue in their own mind about the rationalizations, lies, and half-truths they tell to themselves.

If you want a better future for yourself it is indeed time to stop pretending, it is  time to stop using common lies for ourselves to feel better in the present that at the same time are sacrificing our future.

Let the new year begin, I am ready to enjoy every minute of it.
