I’ve recently embarked on a new and exciting journey : working on a podcast with a fantastic co-host.
The vibe we share is electric, and it’s making the process so much fun and inspiring as it feels we both bring the best energy to every conversation. It feels as if we have always been doing this together.
Our podcast is focused on a topic that’s been on my mind for a while: Is there a difference between specialists and generalists? My first book is about generalist and I continue getting great reactions from people that read the book and that understand themselves better and gained extra insights.
It’s a fascinating subject because both play such vital roles in today’s fast-paced world, but in very different ways. Specialists dive deep into one field, becoming masters of their craft, while generalists thrive by connecting ideas across multiple domains.
In our episodes, we dig into how specialists have the expertise to solve complex problems within their niche, while generalists often see the bigger picture and innovate by combining knowledge from diverse fields. Our conversations are full of insights, debates, and sometimes surprising conclusions about how these different approaches can complement each other in both personal and professional life.
Whether you see yourself as a specialist, a generalist, or somewhere in between, there’s so much to learn and appreciate about both perspectives.
What I love most about working on this podcast is not just the topic but the collaboration. My co-host brings such great energy, and together we explore ideas from both angles, challenging each other in the best way possible.
I’m thrilled about where this podcast is going and can’t wait to share more with you all.
Stay tuned for more updates and deep dives into the fascinating world of specialists vs. generalists!
