Loss

Sometimes there are moments when you are very busy for your job, having many challenges, working on many different project, deadlines to meet, customers you want to satisfy… This is the actual situation for me right now, feeling grateful for all the projects I can work on even in these strange times. But on the […]

Talent

Do we need talent to succeed in the things we love to do?   I think being talented can be a gift, but it is more important to be passionate and to work hard to turn out to be good in many things. And when you work hard with passion with good coaches that believe […]

Creativity

When is somebody creative? I think creativity is hard to encapsulate. Some say that you can be really creative when you try to become like children again, innocent. Do we need to be free to be creative? Being free does not necessarily mean we can influence any piece of our own destiny. But we should […]

As if it was a newspaper …

There is Friday again and I feel like a columnist writing for a newspaper. I never thought I would keep that positive pressure on me to write and share a blog article every week. Since March 2018 this ritual is part of my week. A deal I made with myself. I was a reader, always […]

It’s ok not to be ok

I had the incredible luck to be able to moderate a panel on HR this week for a big software company. It was remarkable to get real authentic HR managers and a down to earth professor in the talk. It is about culture they said, it is about realizing that we need to do first […]

Freedom

Freedom, what does it mean? Did you ever lose a part of your health making you feel as if you lost your freedom? What are we without health when we are free? Do we need to feel healthy before we can feel free, or does freedom gives us a feeling of being healthy? What are […]

Artificial Intelligence

It was really nice to be moderating an internal event this week for the company who’s Manager is the actual Manager of the Year in Belgium. I had the pleasure to have 3 amazing speakers in a remote and digital setting. It is always an extra challenge to do panels when you cannot really see […]

Indifferent

I always knew I was a bit different but I know I will never be indifferent… Indifference says loud and clear, “I just don’t care about you. What’s happening to you doesn’t matter to me.” I sometimes wonder whether indifference is not a kind of fear? Is the opposite of love hate? I think indifference […]
